I believe that Holden likes little kids because they are innocent, and are to young to be fake . Little kids don't judge people, and they don't know the harsh reality of conforming society. Holden dosen't think that little kids are phonies. He is very judgemental about older people, and he feels more comfortable around little kids. I believe that Holden can relate to little kids a lot better then grown ups.
